Wednesday election fun

Analysis up to the 20:20 drop

It’s now seeping into the leftist world as well, if only to deny it in general but that’s neither here nor there. The legal battles are the thing now. Also, the little birdies are beginning to sing – they know where this is going.

  1. Thanks again to all the work you guys and gals are doing. Without which I would probably be in a slough of lockdown despair.

Why does that make me think of John Betjeman? Off topic but sufficiently obscure.

Come friendly bombs and fall on Slough!
It isn’t fit for humans now,
There isn’t grass to graze a cow.
    Swarm over, Death!

Come, bombs and blow to smithereens
    Those air -conditioned, bright canteens,
Tinned fruit, tinned meat, tinned milk, tinned beans,
    Tinned minds, tinned breath.

Mess up the mess they call a town-
    A house for ninety-seven down
And once a week a half a crown
    For twenty years.

And get that man with double chin
Who’ll always cheat and always win,
    Who washes his repulsive skin
    In women’s tears:

And smash his desk of polished oak
And smash his hands so used to stroke
And stop his boring dirty joke
    And make him yell.

But spare the bald young clerks who add
    The profits of the stinking cad;
It’s not their fault that they are mad,
    They’ve tasted Hell.

It’s not their fault they do not know
    The birdsong from the radio,
It’s not their fault they often go
    To Maidenhead

And talk of sport and makes of cars
    In various bogus-Tudor bars
And daren’t look up and see the stars
    But belch instead.

    In labour-saving homes, with care
Their wives frizz out peroxide hair
And dry it in synthetic air
    And paint their nails.

Come, friendly bombs and fall on Slough
To get it ready for the plough.
    The cabbages are coming now;
    The earth exhales.

  2. In my neck of the woods, there is a good deal of celebrating going on, as I’m in a deeply Left Wing part of the United States. I am not even putting any energy towards this, because I feel like a major conflict is coming. It would appear the Trump Administration is compiling stacks of information and proof that voter fraud indeed occurred, and there is no way a man like Trump won’t fight until the last bloody scrap. He has also been unnaturally quiet, and I don’t think it’s because he’s embarrassed/defeated. The sudden flip of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Georgia, as well as the absurdly high numbers of voter turnout, suggest a major coup. Trump is assembling a team I think, and this whole deal is going to be very ugly, especially where I live.

    • Oh yes, and as you say, in deep left zones, it’s almost going to be the endtimes dystopia often portrayed in film.

But similarly here, there are already no-go zones although this is due more to the invaders in our case, not white college kids and BLM. I’m including France in this, plus reportedly Germany.

      • I have heard that in major cities in the UK, there are entire neighborhoods that are Muslim only, enforced by unofficial Sharia Law. I am uncertain if that is real, or sensationalist. Perhaps you could tell me.

They want that very badly out here. Maybe not so much Muslims, at least not yet. But they want the absolute scum of society free to do whatever, wherever, with no repercussions. Crime doesn’t get prosecuted by corrupt city officials, therefore the crime isn’t officially counted, and so we are a SAFE city! Needles and feces all over the sidewalk, ranting lunatics screaming at nobody in particular. And a bunch of indoctrinated zombies not paying it any mind, just walking over it. Until someone walks by in a MAGA hat, THEN a major social crime has been committed and you are in big trouble. I need to move deep into the country

        • The seaboard is going to become unlivable for decent people if the lowlifes get their way and ordinary people will, as you say, have to move further inland.

This is bad where decent people are living near the sea but money and lowlifery move into the area and take it over. That’s starting to happen on the south-east shores now, has been for some time..

  3. All caps from POTUS must mean he wants our attention.

  4. Ron aka CodeMonkey replying to POTUS’ tweet:

Look in the “C:\path\to\project\NotCastImages” folder on all the ICC hardware for ambiguous ballots. Arizona had a lot of issues with sharpie markers. The ICC hardware might have marked such ballots as ambiguous.
Ambiguous ballots are not counted, but are saved to a folder.
